Faces Story
Photographer/designer Michael Cohen:
While working on the Upper West Side as a real estate agent, my travels took me past many forgotten or unnoticed works of art, part of the prewar townhouses, brownstones and apartment buildings, mostly from the 20s and 30s.

I started to photograph them then decided to present them as individual 'faces' by silhouetting, exposing them to many more than just passersby.

I began printing fine-art giclee prints and realized the faces would look great indoors as interesting, unique merchandise items.

Current items include Pillows, Watches, Earrings, Canvas Tote bags and Scarves.
